Two new tests have been created recently, unfortunately they are not yet commercially available:

ViroCap: New test detects all viruses that infect people, animals

VirCapSeq: Diagnostics Breakthrough Brings Viral Sequencing to Doctors’ Toolkit

I already wrote regarding the second one and unfortunately only got this as an answer "VirCapSeq is not yet available commercially. We do run assays on a research basis when physicians send us samples for analysis"

Very good news from Lipkin and his research group!
Hope there will be a similar "net" to catch bacterias in, in a near future.

CII is already using the tool in its research and is in talks with other labs interested in using it.
Note that this is Ian Lipkin's department, and it's their invention.
Hope Ian Lipkin is running some ME/CFS samples through it!
