I found a lyme dr that takes medicare- yay.. the challange is with traffic this can be a 10 hour round trip..and the appts are only 30mins, we dont have enough time to get through all the labs, i have gone 3x so far to see him.. and they sell me suppliments..

it seems CRAZY to go so far for a 30min visit.

i am considering seeing an ND that is local and has a good treatment record. but he doesnt take insurance
i am going to see how it will work to deduct off my taxes and how much i would get back..that might make it worth it, i dont know yet.

it seems crazy to spend 4 to $600 dollars when i can go for free (travel aside) to the other dr.

any thoughts on this? i make a decision and then i change my mind.
thank you

Any chance you can book a double appointment with the Lyme doctor or two or more separate appointments spaced out over the one day? Or a phone or Skype consult?

good thinking @AndyPandy i called their office, they said to double book in one day insurance wont covert it.. and would cost me $180. and to do phone or skype is not insurance covered and $145 per 15mins! that later seems sily to me. they suggested i make a good list of everything i want to cover and make sure to present it to the dr. i will try this next visit in 2 weeks.
