Breaking news is that Armour has been reclassified by the FDA as "an unapproved new drug" and the company making a generic version of it has been forced to cease production. Armour is no longer available, nor are the similar products from two other companies. All this, apparently, to protect pharmaceutical companies who want to force consumers into buying their artificial T4 and T3 products.

From what I can tell, this is part of a broad plan to get rid of all bioidentical hormones. The only action link I have thus far found is a petition to make estriol available. If you learn of any action alerts, or have experience with advocacy, please reply below. This may not be a specific ME-CFS issue, but many of us are able to tolerate natural forms of hormones but not the synthetic forms, and most of the doctors who work with supplements prefer the natural thyroid products.
