midodrine and swiming

Question:

They say not to lay down on midodrine, can I swim on it w/o raising BP???

I've been on it for 3 years and have used swimming as my form of exercise each summer. Didn't seem to be a problem for me, but then I haven't had it be a problem when I lay down when it's still in my system either. I've checked my BP while supine many times to be sure.
