Thanks to everyone who joined and hope to see you on again next week!

We had 12 callers.

Some of the topics discussed: medications, coping strategies, supplements, finding proper doctors and tests, our own stories, SSDI, SSI, PEM, sensory overload and how we deal with friendships and isolation.

If you didn't join us tonight, hope you'll join us next week!

Someone pointed this thread out to me. I've not been on this forum in a long time but I wanted to say that I think this is a superb idea. Our in-person support group has a Skype component for those who are unable/ prefer not to attend in-person and has been run by a dedicated volunteer (Kudos to D) for a while now. While we may have a bit more trust in our group because of its longevity and occasional in-person meeting, trust can also be generated over time in other ways.

Also, for those who do not like to type, try the following for converting speech into text; if you have another Windows version, go into Control Panel and search for "speech':

Mobile phones, if you have one, are superb for that feature.

Good luck.

What a great idea, I never use my audio to type but now I will. Thank you.

Text to speech works well in android or iOS. Though not so well if you have speech issues.

I think using free conference lines is an excellent way to meet, one on one or as a group, anonymously.

There are also some great free WebRTC sites that can be used to host conferences from your browser. No need for any special software. https://www.voicechatapi.com/
