Is drowsiness a side effectof Quatrefolic ?

For the last six months I have been taking methylfolate with no problems. I have been using Solgar's Metafolin (800 mcg, 2 to 3 times a day).

I switched to Quatrefolic and sometimes get very, very sleepy one or to hours after taking a dose. Is sleepiness a known side effect?

Methylation does seem to cause some people to become sleepy. See this thread and more recently, this post.

According to Freddd, every time he switches between metafolin and quatrefolic, he sees an increase in effects.
