Ionic Minerals: Safe?

I'm wondering if ionic minerals are safe for remineralizing. I like them because they are in elemental form without additives and I think I will absorb them better. But Dr. Kevin Conners says ionic minerals create free radical damage. And minerals such as zinc, manganese and especially iron can be toxic just like the heavy metals we normally think of as toxic such as cadmium, lead etc. He said if you can't chelate them out that's a big problem. My plan is to detox my main organs (Desbio) and do a biofilm elimination protocol and when my channels of elimination are more open, then I will focus on remineralizing via supplements. Now I remineralize through juicing and lots of veggies and fruits.

What do you think about ionic minerals?
