Our Newly Ill Face Their First Holiday Season with ME/CFS
Don't look now! The holiday season is on its way. I've lived through decades of them with ME/CFS. So have many of you in our chronically ill community. That's beyond sad for all of us. But at least we have some idea what we're contending with, and have learned our ways of handling...

This very sad news was posted by Linda Crowhurst on the Stonebird site today.

This is the article written by Lili's Mum on the IiME site a while ago. The behaviour of our UK health service is outrageous and a national scandal and now their young victim is dead. Our heartfelt sympathies and our love goes to her grieving mum.

I would like to remember Lili at this time of year. Her story is heartbreaking. I'm glad she had such devoted care in her mother to soften the blows whilst she struggled and I'm grateful to her for establishing severe ME day in recognition of what the 25% who live in an almost unbelievable existence often hidden, are enduring.
Peace to you Lili and strength to your family xx
