What i found interesting is it breaks down the different causes of insomnia and isnt just anti drugs/sleep hygiene crap we always read. Does list medications to use for chronic insomnia for those with a chronic medical condition causing the sleep issues, although cfs/me isnt mentioned i would think it fits into this category.

This is the link i got the above online manual from http://www.sleepmedicine.com.au/

Probably nothing earth shattering for many of us but helps clarify what we already know.

I can't read all that since I was up most of the night LOL but like you say, doesn't seem like anything new.

Did they address sleep initiators and sleep sustainers and layering things?

And even with that, excluding tolerance, I could take the same thing 2 nights in a row and have a completely different outcome.

I have this list of benzos that is pretty extensive.

@belize44 lightweight! I have several benzos, several antihistamines, Passion flower, suntheanine, kava, trazodone, seroquel, and doxepine. Probably more but I can't remember off the top of my head.
LOL I have had to quit a lot more medications because they were starting to cause odd side effects. I wish I could find the perfect solution...:)

If one lives where it's legal, medical cannabis is a wonderful aid to getting to sleep and staying asleep. Since starting to use it, I have had the best sleep I've had in 30 years of ME.
