Another option to the typical neuropathic pain meds is transdermal glyceryl trinitrate. The only studies into this has been in those with Diabetic Neuropathy but I find that oral nitrates I take for intestinal ischemia helps me with the neuropathic pain in my feet and calves too and I'm not diabetic.
