So they are still using Lyme and FMD.
Nothing is happening there over the weekend. I'd expect it to take a least a couple days for them to get their shit together.
The new study that will be discussed as part of this has become hugely controversial, of course.
I'm sure we'll be all glued to this broadcast, which is later today.
Bump... on in less than two hours.
Any minute now...
Argh, has anyone got the link? That link at the top leads to loads of links, none of which seem to be the transmission...
Should the live stream start soon? Have I got the correct time/day/month/year?
Yes! I'm in business with that link.
it has started now.

I have picture but no sound.
"Chronic fatigue syndrome is a biologically based illness ..." .
Sorry, but Lapp's "pillar" of education, where he recommends people go to the CDC website for info ruined his credibility for me.
Very unimpressed with Dr Lapp. GET (non-curative, responding to symptoms), CBT (the good kind), sleep and pain management ... better than nothing I guess? But still gave the impression we're largely a bunch of head-cases by talking about psychology/psychiatry so much.
He even brought in the "ask about childhood trauma and abuse" as part of the diagnostic interview. sigh.
Lapp was the first major doctor I saw. He was nice, but his approach was about as passive as I could imagine, for someone who specializes in the disease. His presentation was fairly poor, with a few bits particularly jumping out. I'm most bummed out by the over all tone he set, but doctors often struggle to communicate effectively. He may find that the exercise stuff he promotes helps, but that hasn't been proven and outsiders will not appreciate the differences between CBT/GET and what he does. His recommendation of the CDC material, as noted, further glosses over the difference.
Yep, Lapp went downhill fast and started repeating just about every wrongheaded piece of 'received wisdom' out there. Any chance he might step aside? He's not going to help.
Dr Unger's chart just showed that mental/emotional function is healthy, but physical is super low. THAT is a good message for listening doctors to hear.
