I am interested in this because the cause of appendicitis is still unknown.

Diverticulitis is a known condition associated with EDS but appencitis is not - to my knowledge.

SO if you have Fibro/ME/cfs /EDS your answeer would be greatly appreciated,

thanks in advance for replies and feel free to add comments to clarify etc.

Rebooting this thread, as I've been curious as to how many PWME have had their appendix removed and if they noticed any ill effects from it.

I had mine removed in 2012. Then I had a year from hell in 2013 (a breakup, moving, graduating, my dad died), then started getting really sick toward the end of 2014.

It's hard to say if my appendix removal made things worse but I wish I still had one.
