Thought I'd give the paper a plug:

Just got some nice comments on my Harms paper:

Subject: Re: Your Harms Paper

I've been meaning to email you about this for a while...

I finally got around to reading your harms paper, from beginning to end, a couple of months ago, after buying a new printer.

(I had only dipped into it previously.)

And I was bowled over by its quality and readability.

What an incredible accomplishment.

It includes a large amount of very useful information, collated into a very readable document.

It's a very useful paper.

I wish you were as prolific at publishing papers as White, Wessely and colleagues! *:) happy

Well, I just wanted to give you some feedback.

How long did it take you to write it, if you don't mind me asking?

---------
The paper is available free here: http://iacfsme.org/BULLETINFALL2011/Fall2011KindlonHarmsPaperABSTRACT/tabid/501/Default.aspx
I'd love more people to read it. It took a lot of work to write and I'd love to see it put to use more.

------
Self-praise is no praise so of course one of my assistants that has posted this on Phoenix Rising, rather than posting it myself. ;) *
[*But just to be clear, I didn't write the main comment. Also, I was given permission to quote it]

----
As I mention here ( https://listserv.nodak.edu/cgi-bin/wa.exe?A2=ind1112B&L=CO-CURE&P=R3946&I=-3&d=No+Match%3BMatch%3BMatches ) a lot of people gave input on the writing of the paper.

Praise is deserved for this paper. It went a long way to filling a massive gaping hole in the literature. It is a must read for anyone interested in understanding the CBT/GET controversy or critiquing the evidence.
