In the past two months, or so, Ive noticed a flurry of studies on Gut bacteria and the relation of those bacteria to out immune systems and overall health. Id like to start a thread on this, so Im posting links to several of those studies. While there is already a lengthy thread on this forum about faecal transplants, which is somewhat related, these studies suggest a critical mass, and resulting acceleration of, research in this area that goes far beyond the last-ditch efforts of faecal transplants.
