About a week ago I started a trial of sodium chromoglicate. So far it's been good and bad.

The good - my digestion seems greatly improved while using it, and oddly a long term back problem is also much improved. I also feel much less "poisoned", or like something really wrong is going on in my body.

The bad - I can't sleep. At first I thought it might be increased histamine for some reason, but after doing a bit of reading on the Masto forum it seems this drug is high in salicylates and reactions aren't uncommon. I've backed it way off but I reckon I'll struggle to keep taking it long term. Maybe ketotifen is worth a try instead.

Thought I'd share in case others are considering trying this drug.
