Hi SOC and lnester7,

I am looking into Coxsackie infection and Equilibrant right now and as I'm not based in the U.S. this could end up being expensive. How did you go about this?

1. Did you get a diagnosis with the Antibodies test with Arup Lab? http://www.aruplab.com/guides/ug/tests/0060055.jsp
2. Did you also test for the Echovirus with them? http://www.aruplab.com/guides/ug/tests/0060053.jsp
3. If not how were you otherwise diagnosed and proven cured for Coxsackie virus?
4. What has been the overall impact to your recovery? E.g. in % terms from normal or symptoms reduction/ elimination.

Thanks a lot!

I think my test is called coasaxie test on quest. It was high, I took equillibrant 2 times a day for a few months, then tested again in 4 months and it was low. Reading the casaxie test was different I remember is like they don't have a (I think is the IGG) I cannot remember the criteria now. But I am waiting on the new tests on the mail (about middle of next week). Ping me later and I will see if I can read and explain better.

My test was a simple antibodies test by Focus Diagnostics. It looks like the same one you have linked from Arup. I might have had a PCR test to confirm, I don't remember. I don't think I've been tested for Echovirus.

My infection was relatively mild, so I only took 1 Equilibrant daily. Nevertheless, I noticed a difference -- maybe a 10% improvement. I imagine that if I had a more serious infection, the impact would have been substantial, though.
