I couldn't take showers for years, but now I can. I don't do it every day--maybe twice a week--but I no longer have to go straight to bed. I have no idea why. My other symptoms haven't improved.

Did OI resolve/improve in the people who responded to Rituximab? I'm not sure if this was specifically reported on, but it would be interesting to know.

I expect OI-issues in ME to be related to some kind of autoimmunity screwing up e.g. circulation. Remove the cause, and you should be fine again.

8 months of antibiotics for Borrelia have cured my OI. Poor man's test today: my heart rate increased by only 10 per minute where Prevously it used to increase by over 30 in 3 minutes. I notice that I can now stand for longer periods of time too without collapsing. Legs still 'buzzing' though.
