So much science; feel overwhelmed! Can anyone help out with what has been discovered, as opposed to theory/hypothesis?

I think there have been a few things learned about ME/CFS. Like there is often gut dysbiosis/dysfunction, immune system dysfunction, etc. Nobody has come up with anything but theories though as to how these and other things are all connected.

I don't know if this helps but the 4 National Institute of Health collaboratives that just got ME/CFS grants for research are all focused on the gut, brain, immune system and metabolomics=(the scientific study of the set of metabolites present within an organism, cell, or tissue).
