I thought this article on using a liquid diet to lose weight and control diabetes was interesting. Since blood sugar levels significantly impact immune function, it may have some relevance for some of us who may have irregular blood sugar levels.

I know I feel better when I take a short break from solid food, and focus on drinking bone broths, teas, and fermented drinks (my favorite is sauerkraut juice). Sometimes just doing this for 18 hours can make a huge difference in my sense of well-being.
