Any other C. Difficile Colitis survivors out there?

I am a woman in my mid-30's who contracted severe C. Difficile Colitis one year ago during abdominal and bowel surgery. I was hospitalized in the ICU for 10 days. I wouldn't wish the experience on my worst enemy. I was treated with an almost 3 week long course of Vancomycin & then a course of Florastor, and thankfully I have not yet had a relapse (knock on wood). However my ME/CFS was worsened by the ordeal. I was unaware of ME/CFS at the time all of this happened and of course not diagnosed, but looking back I see that I was experiencing ME/CFS symptoms, only with a much higher PEM threshold.

Any other C. Difficile sufferers or survivors out there in PR land?
