Here is some information about Karina Hansen who is a severe ME patient in Denmark. She was committed to Hammel Neurocenter on February 12, 2013 against her will for treatment that could be detrimental to her health. In Denmark ME is considered a functional disorder called bodily distress syndrome and the treatment is cognitive behavioral therapy, graded exercise therapy, and possibly anti-depressants.
