Hey @Jo Best and @AndyPR (sorry) just because in threads you always seem a fount of knowledge and if Jo's not the right person to ask you might know who to direct this question to!

Do you know how Invest in M.E invites guests? Do they rely on people like us getting in contact? If so can I send an invitation to some researchers at Edinburgh university? Or email the medical societies? If not is there someone we could contact to request they send invites? It's such a great event would love to try and get the word out to some Scottish researchers/students to attend :)

Lol, I just spend too much of my time in front of my computer, logged into PR ;)

Have you found the Invest in ME Facebook group yet? https://www.facebook.com/groups/5804522506/ That may be the best place to ask the question, or the contact details for the charity are here, http://investinme.org/contactus.shtml

They welcome contact from researchers, so I think the options are for you to contact researchers you'd like to inform of the opportunity so that they could then contact the charity if they're interested; and/or contact the charity yourself.
This is the page about the colloquium:
http://investinme.eu/BRMEC Colloquiums.shtml

On that page is a 'Contact Us' button that takes you here: http://investinme.eu/BRMEC Colloquiums.shtml#ContactUs

Hope this helps :)

All the forums in the Community section are members only. You can see what forums are members only if you log out and see what disappears on the forum list.

If a forum is "Members Only" does that mean that the threads inside of that forum would never appear in any Google or internet search done by a non-member? Sorry if the answer is obvious but I want to be certain before posting about something there in the future.
