The podcast is unfortunate - not going into how bad the evidence of CBT is - calling it 'marginal' - and recommending it's offered anyway.
Saying "chronic fatigue syndrome is where fatigue is the dominant symptom" - grr.
@14 'a proper examination must be done'. 'tell the patient that it is unlikely that anything can be found'.

On balance, it's possibly a not as bad podcast as it could be.
The interviewee diddn't go into the crap false explanation thing.
Manage symptoms, talk about them if they change.

'It is very important to study exercise therapies' oh great.

Just having them say CBT is marginal is a big improvement. Perhaps it shows the message that PACE lied is getting through.

However it is concerning that there is an attempt to retake over diseases where the weight of evidence is falling against the psychological explanations by combining them and calling them MUS.
