Aside from going out to a doctor or something showering utterly wipes me out. Also, too much sensory overload drains me.

Walking too far too fast is the most common. Strenuous activity such as stair climbing, lugging heavy loads, gardening, any leg work involving crouching then standing.
Standing for too long and walking too far. Social activities like chatting with friends for too long and also travelling in a car other than very short distances. I also find chemical smells can bring on PEM, which is strange because they are not an exertion but I suppose they are a form of stimulation and also injuries... I once had bad PEM from banging my head on a cupboard door. Also prolonged stress.

Any kind of alteration in body position, croutching etc gets me very dizzy.
Showering was a big issue for me too. A few years ago I observed that the PEM after showering depended a lot on the temperature.Aside from going out to a doctor or something showering utterly wipes me out.
Social interaction...shopping...talking on the phone...minor stress. I get all my PEM from mental overload. I can do physical activities with no repercussions as long as I don't over-do.
I feel as though my brain has very little energy and once it's used up I am done for the whole day....sometimes I seem to be able to go longer but usually my PEM is immediate and sometimes I can feel it happening even while still at a store or lunch with a friend.
@GG...I am back in North Carolina. We only lived in NH for five months then my husband transferred back down here. It's been a crazy year for sure!!!!

So maybe you have problems with heat/high temperatures? Then it could be helpful to reduce temperature.
I know a lot of people are against GET but I've been doing this on my own so I don't have someone else pushing me. I go for a walk on a nice flat path along a river which is great for my physical and mental health. I feel like I'm doing something "normal" and the environment is really relaxing. I let my body decide on the walking pace. I usually start getting wobbly legs after 20 minutes but try to do another 5 minutes.
