Today's NYTimes reports on a rare case of Zika virus tied to Immune Thrombocytopenia Purpura(ITP):

"Zika infection triggered his immune system to produce antibodies that attack...platelets, which cause the blood to clot."

In such a short period of time they have found many causal links associated to Zika Virus and Immune problems.

I feel son let down as I am sure many others here do that a hidden epedemic lies in our wake and if we had a Billion dollars to do research we might have the answers many have been looking for, for years.

The fact is we suffer...we are not a hot topic as many fall sick and become permanently disabled....with inaccurate diagnosis....
