Hi All, Been reading these forms for quite some time, impressive what many of you have figured out. Just got my results and looking to start working on treatment. The results make sense given inconsistent results with prior supplementation. Best Supplement results have been GABA and Magnesium (Liquid). Have tried high quality B6, Methyl-B12, and every other solid vitamin with inconsistent, if any, results. From what I have researched it seems I should avoid MethylB12, and consider Methylfolate?

Diagnosed CFS & also ADD/MDD/GAD, had a positive ana test but no dx on that until after the new year. Other background is I have a very strong avoidance defense tenancy. Higher IQ, functioning professional (most of the time), but a very slow processor and 'intense' in my head. Regular mood swings (Not sure quite BiPolar2, more will start making gains for a few weeks/months doing well, and then usually an external circumstance will occur that frustrates and sort of degrades my mood. Been on multiple ADs, best luck was with effexor, but was moderate at best. Also physically I have energy crashes, but I suspect these are related to anxiety. Had (Confirmed & Treated) Lyme's as a teenager, now 30.

Had many Labs, most came back 'In range' Key ones - Serum Folic Acid - 17.4, P5P - 85, B12 - 939, Sodium many times comes back slightly low, or right at border of normal. Had many other things tested if you have any questions.

Anyways just hoping for some more experienced opinions to input and make some recommendations. Thanks in advance!

I have similar problems. Especially "Other background is I have a very strong avoidance defense tenancy. Higher IQ, functioning professional (most of the time), but a very slow processor and 'intense' in my head. Regular mood swings" and anxiety.
How was your lyme treated?
What works very well for my anxiety is p5p, as I suspect pyrrole.

Lyme was treated by antibiotic, this was 15ish years ago, I believe doxycycleen(sp?). I also had pneumonia secondary to this at the same time. Was beat down to a shell of myself. P5P is great - Ive had good luck with solgar gaba and the natural calm - the only two supplements (until a few days ago, below), I could 'feel.

Started treatment a few days ago. I always knew high quality makes a difference, but wow does it make a difference. i had some start up reactions at 2000mcg b12 and roughly the same of the 5-(whatever the activated version of folate is called). Low dose niacin did help as folks recommend, too much made me tired.

Since then cranked it up - probably 30,000 mcg methyl-b12 sublingual a day, just keeping a few in my lip always. 8,000mcg of the folate. I am then doing 50,000 iu Vitamin D (clear deficiency), garden of life raw A,C,E,Iron,Zinc (separate), mag, calcium, potassium. Taking Max B-nd by Primer labs for other B's. Liquid gluithaone, dha, epa, huge dose probiotics and enzymes. Intense rebuild attempt, have seen some decent improvements.

I am starting to see how this could happened. Prior health issues, plus the poor genes, a few years of vegetarianism (didn't know better), and some years of partying pretty hard (numb the health pain) was enough to just have me stripped down of any good reserves of anything over the years.

Positive results thus far - my eyes are producing natural tears for the first time in a year or two, clearer eye whites, reduced muscle tension, muscles feel stronger, skin pigment coming back and can see my veins again in my arm, some male improvements that would seem to reflect things starting to function, less sensitivity to cold. Markedly increased mood and more outgoing, still a bit of an early evening crash, but cant complain.

Now lets hope I dont hit the 1 week plateau/crash I hear so much about. Any thoughts are appreciated. Happy to answer any questions about my history/progress, may just be slow to respond at times.

Any one have success reversing cognitive decline? My time/spacial/planning/prioritizing/executive function/ADDness has just gone to crap in the last year.
