Here is a link to a You Tube video that lasts almost an hour by Dr Armin Schwarzbach which explains about the problems of testing for borrelia and co-infections.

It would be great if @Jonathan Edwards could find the time to watch it and give his thoughts on what is being said as there is a bit about autoimmunity and Lyme.

Very informative presentation. He covers a lot in that hour.

FYI, when the speaker references VlsE testing, he is talking also about the C6 Peptide test, as the C6 peptide is a 26-amino acid sequence within the Borrelia VlsE protein.

I know there is a C10 peptide. It's just looking for pieces of outer surface proteins of Bb, so I guess theoretically there can be others. I just don't know who has patented what.

This is a test for rheumatoid arthritis.
