Light a candle to remember M. E
I’m organising a fundraising + awareness raising campaign for M. E awareness week called ’Light a candle to remember M . E.

This will invoke

  • Lighting candles to remember M. E

  • Donating

  • E-mailing photos to me to make a collage of the candles that’ve been lit

I’d like share their experiences with me though so I have 3 real life examples for people to think of when lighting their candles

    Particularly
    • People who’ve died
    • Been discriminated against
    • Young people preferable under 13
Peusodns can be used to protect identities

All proceeds to invest in M. E

Remember to keep an eye on candles at all times!
Please, be careful, don't burn your houses down, or injure yourselves.

I'll try and send a candle lighting photo or more from relatives.
Perhaps just making a small poster (calendar sized maybe) that says Remember ME to put in the photo as well.

Also, just to confirm you mean May 12 as the week.

Oh darn! I was planning to burn my house down or otherwise injure myself, just hadn't decided which yet. You're such a party pooper! ;)

If someone hasn't already suggested it, it occurred to me that at some future time the blue, spring flowers "forget-me-not" might also work well with ME advocacy themes.

We don't use candles at all, thanks. :)
(my OH doesn't like the smell.)
He won't let me put my lava lamp on. (I find it soothing). He says it's a waste of electricity. He wouldn't let me "waste electricity" on fake candles either.o_O

One has to compromise in a relationship. :p

:pMichael is Irish, Russ. He's a foreigner; an immigrant; he's from Tipperary.

How will the donations work? I can support this campaign that way.
