Do you know of or hv u seen any immunologist or infectious disease doc that seems open-minded?

I know this is a long shot but it beats googling "london immunologist" and going through results one by one which i am also doing and i need to ask someone who fits those labels some quite specific questions.

I found Prof Brostoff open minded. Also Dr Murphy (Royal Free) apart from her appalling support of the PACE trial and SW has been useful before in the past. Depends on the question.

Hope that helps. Send me a PM if you want further info.

Dr Enlander, an ME/CFS specialist who is a Brit but is based in New York, visits London regularly and sees patients. He runs a panel of tests for things including HHV6 (the bloods go to a lab in the States). Not sure if that's what you're looking for but here's his website:

Hi vli - I'm sorry Ampligen didn't work out for you.

That's OK, I already know about Dr E's treatment but thanks for the offer.

I hope you find someone in London! :)

FWIW, Ampligen did help, but in hindsight it was just too darn slow and i might've seen more if i'd been more willing to be more housebound or bedbound--as i was only on half the max dose. So now i've learned the hard way to grit my teeth thru antivirals.

Vli- You may want to try an Infectious Disease Dr. I have had good success with one here in the States.
