I'm stressed and upset. Therefore I need pizza.

Body is being difficult.
Life is being life.
In various and sundry ways.
Just shy of 84 years old Dad is in hospital 3rd time in 3 months;
June-covid.
July-stroke.
Yesterday-not discovered yet.
And his health is plenty messy to begin with.
And I can not drive the 100 miles between here and there.
And with my own dysfunctional immune system I do not need to be going there anyway.
I swear my immune system looks at all rational laws of cause and effect and goes, :p🤣 "Pffffffftttttt!"
Then there's SSD monthly 'take home pay' being reduced to 171 USD below the poverty level.
I'm stressed and upset.
Therefore I need pizza.
Yeah, yeah, I know ...
the wheat isn't good for me,
the cheese isn't good for me,
the tomato isn't good for me,
the processed meat isn't good for me,
Pizza is pizza is pizza
I need pizza.
Need, not want, as in NEED.
Now. let's go do something about that.
Good thing grocery store is close and it is nice day out.
I'm not good for driving overly far.
Which is another cause to NEED pizza.
Might also splurge on a little thing of mint chocolate chip ice cream.
Yeah, yeah, I know ...
the lactose isn't ...
the sugar isn't ...
the chocolate isn't ...
Hmm, do I want to wear the shirt worn to creative writers group this morning?
Or wear the shirt worn to apartment office yesterday to do lease renewal paperwork?
🤔

Why did they lower your SSD, if you don't mind me asking?

I just wondered because I'm getting ready to try to apply for SSI and there are so, so many rules I want to make sure I don't mess anything up for myself.

Why did they lower your SSD,
Hey there; the overall amount wasn't lowered but Missouri Social Services decided that my 3 dollars a month above the Dept of HHS poverty level for a household of 1, SSD amount plus the couple hundred dollars a month my parents were giving me to help in this economy made me too rich for Missouri to keep assisting the poor by paying the $175 a month Medicare Part B premium for me. So, now my SSD 'take home pay' has become $171 a month below the poverty level.
For the record, just remember that governments are by definition sadistic because the citizens who vote for governments are by definition sadistic.
