Blue full moon

A energetic palette cleanser for my feed
💙🦋

Cerulean
Blue moon
In the sea
Waiting
But will you
dance with me
Dancing waves
Encompassing millennia
Beyond these crests
That break
There is a flow
That commands…

Commends
Magnetizes
Divests
Unrests

To create

Coming apart
To fALL
Together
In new ways
New rays

There was a Blue Moon last night. We went out and it looked about the same as any other.

Also, a Blue Moon isn't blue at all, but a rather orange looking and very big ball low in the sky. I was disappointed, and couldn't keep going out checking on it.

I like the old version (from the 1940's, I believe) of 'Blue Moon."

Haha, very true, just a term to signify 2nd full moon in one month.

Oh, I would love to hear it. I will try to search for that song. Thanks Lenora. I do hope you are keeping cool and having a good week 🦋

It's kind of hard to keep cool when August arrives, or even most of September. Thanks for the thought, though.

Yes, a low but huge orange ball is downright scary. But that's what we get for parking (do people still park?) when we were dating. I had never seen anything like it.....truly changed the mood in a hurry.

I can remember that it was in October....except then it was called a Harvest Moon. I've often thought that ancient people must have been absolutely amazed at the night sky. Imagine what it was like for them. Hope your doing as well as you can, Sunshine. Yours, Lenora
