I was noticing reading this article written by Cort that he asks about the next steps

and part of the reply says:
"Maybe we’ll have to move to stem cells. Our current thinking, though, is that we should be able to induce the metabolic trap in cells carrying the mutations we’ve identified. So that’s the first backup plan. "
I wish there were enough resources to pursue both paths at the same time, with the help of a billionaire willing to make it possible.
