Has anyone had success with eliminating some or all of their food allergies? If so, how? I'm not talking about simply avoiding the allergic foods, but actually eliminating the reaction.
I've gotten to the point where I'm allergic to so many foods that I'm not getting enough nutrients and am not able to do even a shortened basic rotation diet.
I tried BioSet acupressure-based food allergy elimination some years ago and it did help with some of the allergies, but many of them came back. It also felt like many of the foods weren't totally cleared, but that I was just less allergic to them. Those were the ones that tended to come back more quickly.
I recently started working with a nutritionist using Asyra EAV testing and treatment for food allergies, but am not sure how well it's working so far. The software tests to see what you're allergic to, then a homeopathic remedy is imprinted with the frequencies of the various foods at the potency levels you test for. You take the drops over a period of weeks or months before the allergy is cleared.
I finished 6 weeks of drops and tried one of the foods I've been allergic to (peanuts), but had the same reaction I used to have. I think sometimes you have to take the drops for another round if they don't clear the first time. The nutritionist is also going to give me food phenolics vials for my husband and I to clear at home (using the BioSet technique).
Deseret Biologicals has a series of remedies for food allergy clearing, but it looks like a whole kit that a professional would buy. They may also have alcohol in them -- not sure.
Anyway, I just wondered if anyone else has had success with these or any other methods for clearing food allergies. Also, does anyone know WHY people with CFS get food allergies -- what the root cause is? Is it just an overactive immune system or effect of candida?
Thanks for any input.
