I dont know if anyone else has noticed this.. but Max Pfost contradicts himself in a couple of his Affidavits.
    Check out point 2 http://www.wpinstitute.org/docs/Exh2-ReplyISOMotionforPreliminaryInjunction.pdf
Then Check out point 8 at http://www.wpinstitute.org/docs/Exh1-ReplyISOMotionforPreliminaryInjunction.pdf

Max Pfost is telling two completely different stories of where he took those notebooks to right after he stole them.. surely it would be clear in his head extremely where he took them too and kept them for a while after taking them? (maybe he took them to a place he didnt mention).

Even when he is supposively owning up to all this, he's still telling different stories. Did he take them to Riverwalk condominium for 4 days immediately after taking them.. or did he take them straight to his mothers as other Affidavit said? Why the different stories given?

Nicely spotted and very interesting. I could understand the different accounts having different details not included in the other. But it doesn't make sense to say he took them straight to his mom's house in one account, versus taking them to a condo for four days first in the other account.

From these documents, for all we know, taking the material may be entirely mr. Pfost's own initiative.

    They seem internally inconsistent.

For instance, if Judy took the notebooks and at least one laptop home with her every night why did she need this other guy to obtain them for her?

It seems strange to see legal documents freely available online, is this normal, or is it the sort of thing that could prevent a trial taking place?

Once they are filed they are apparently public documents.

normally, affidavits are part of the public record. Once submitted to the court, they are available for public viewing. It depends on the jurisdiction as to whether they make them available through the Internet or you have to get it by calling the court clerk.

Also, being public record means the public can not be denied access to it. However, that does not mean attorneys or parties from either side can release whatever documents they want whether or not they have been entered into the record of the lawsuit or part of the evidence in a criminal case.

Truth is, we don't know what happened.

Have you ever sat on a jury. As the testimony unfolds, the picture gets repainted again and again.

WPI has announced on their Facebook page that most of the missing material has been returned which will help resolve the civil case.
