Apparently, the officially recognized use of Valcyte is for treatment of CMV. I also read somewhere that Dr. Montoya's test subjects were required to have a certain level of CMV titers to participate in the study.
While, I certainly have pathogen problems, CMV isn't one of them. I'm dealing with EBV, HHV-6, mycoplasma, and HPV.
Would Valcyte be effective against these other pathogens? I only have a vague understanding that CMV, EBV, HHV-6 and HPV are all in the herpes virus family, but I have no idea if a drug that's effective against one would be effective against the others.
