Where are new proposed UK trials first listed?

Would it be correct to assume that the grant is entirely invisible and hence can't be challenged until it's granted?

Just glanced through the first few, then noticed 'page last reviewed 2011, next review due 2013', so it's way out of date.

I don't know whether this one is better:

I notice this is 'clinical trials', so is presumably only trials of treatments, and would not include studies such as the Ron Davis or Naviaux study. Nor, presumably would it include the proposed MEGA trial.

I just discovered this website UK Clinical Trials Gateway where you can register your interest in certain conditions, and search for recruiting clinical trials regarding conditions. I'd recommend looking through it.
