I've just found a great website that explains the meaning of umpteen blood and other tests. It relates abnormal values to the symptoms they usually cause, and then suggests further tests, recommended to lead to a diagnosis.

It is searchable by symptoms, diseases or tests. The CFS section lists lots of blood tests they recommend. Go and rummage in there, it is a great site!
