@Comet, I was happy to see your post. I thought you got by osmosis what I was saying in mine, but I was too tired to spell it out. For my post, first two numbers added equals last number, same with adding third and fourth number together, both equals 7.

Wow - no! Lol - had no clue.   You so smart! :balloons: I hope you did something 7-ish that day to bring you good luck! :)

I thought you were being creative with typing the numbers, so someone... it wasn't me (I think it was the Nerdy Nematode :nerd: :sluggish:).... tried to follow suit. Please no one check the math. ;)

Oh, no, not so smart. I couldn't do all the math you did. Cute and clever the nerdy nematode! Look it's a 7 good luck day for @frenchtulip. too! Triple 7's.

Then finally this:

I particularly enjoyed the photo that went with the article. You know how we get a photo of an immaculately groomed woman looking a little pained to illustrate ME?

That photo is hilarious @Hutan

The local paper went with this

fish + employee holding nose :)

I like the way both editors have decided that people don't trust their readers to understand what a fish is. This could be a newly discovered genre of news photo, like dingbats  .

I would also like to introduce readers to a gem of a site http://apiln.blogspot.co.uk/ (angry people in local newspapers) dedicated to the local paper photographer. Highly trained, with dreams of famous photographers swirling in his mind, they are reduced to being sent out to take pictures of local people being angry. Still, despite the constraints and refusing to become demoralized, our intrepid heroes do their best. Here's a recent one to show the genre :)

The local man in strange shirt, the bus stop, the 'fed up' pose of subject, the slight tilt of the scene, the poor photographer has tried their best, but alas, still not the photo that captured a generation...
