I tried a quarter remeron once and was hungover for 24 hours!

It passes after 2 or 3 days of use, that's normal on a low (thus sedative) dose.

I took it for years and it helped me a lot when I couldn't sleep, didn't need that for a couple years now but that's the first thing I'd take if I needed a sleep aid again. You wake up just fine and refreshed in the morning with it.

I have actually tried Flexeril. My husband had some for his back so I gave it a try. It made me feel very groggy but once again didn't knock me out. I laid there half awake all night. It was a while ago so maybe it could be something I could try again...
I am not so sure about the remeron...I really have a terrible time with anything sedating. I was on it back in 2005 and did take it for a while but couldn't continue because of the hangover effect. The sleep specialist at the time decided to try me on something else.
