Those Deary videos are pretty vile. They got posted before.

Concurrently within the clinical research community there is increasing acknowledgment that we understand these conditions better than we used to and that “medically unexplained” is no longer accurate or useful.

The name persistent physical symptoms acknowledges the commonalities between, for instance, the fatigue associated with multiple sclerosis and the fatigue associated with chronic fatigue syndrome. It acknowledges that both will be amenable to a symptom management approach that can improve the patients quality of life without psychologising their condition.

I am sure MS patients will be over the moon to hear that.

It acknowledges that both will be amenable to a symptom management approach that can improve the patients quality of life without psychologising their condition.

After having spent 30 years building a career and making a nice living from psychologising us to your heart's content.

There are no words to describe the anger I feel at this filthy psychopathic hypocrisy.
