Hi guys

The bane of the last year for me has been recurent dental infections (aside from ME of course!). Despite lots of treatment and an unpleasant amount of money, it hasnt resolved. I'm looking at going to the Munroe Hall Clinic, which will be expensive and difficult. Has anyone else been there and have any feedback?

that clip looks enticing, I havent managed to get sound on it yet, but I will keep trying. I'm interested in biofilm infections because I think I may have a biofilm colony around my kidney stones. Thanks for your response, Sian

We have been in touch Sian re this, but for the benefit of others.....
I just feel this clinic run a dentist dictatorship. They don't discuss , they tell you, there is no debate on treatment, they produce a plan and you have to have everything done as per the plan, eg.if you have 6 fillings and 2 extractions needed they wil do them all and quickly, they don't want to know about how you are feeling or what order you would like things done, they won't just remove amalgams, and if you don't agree.... tough.
They are probably superb dentists with many successesful treatments, and the IV support is possible a huge bonus, but there seems to be no compassion or kindness in their communication, which doesn't instill confidence in me. Maybe others have had different experiences it would be nice to hear.
One thing I hate about this country is because its so small we often don't have the competition that you have in the US and people offering a specialist treatment like this will have a monopoly, this doesn't produce better service, just the opposite.

Your input has already been invaluble - because you have injected a note of caution into what I might otherwise be regarding as 'the next big thing'. My problem is I'm desperate, I find it intolerable to live with the amount of dental pain I have, and after a year of expensive and extensive work, my current dentist has no answers for me - except to suggest more work. My thought was to have their work up at least, and then maybe get someone else to do the work. But thank you for your input, it means I am contemplating them with clear rather than naively hopeful eyes
