CDC researcher says only 10% of cases of Lymes are ever reported to CDC. One of the biggest reasons is Lymes is incorrectly diagnosed for the 1st year and this puts patient in a very poor medical situation when finally diagnosed.

Poor testing criteria was not specifically mentioned, but you didn't to think very hard to see that it points in that direction.

So, how many cases are reported to the CDC every year? Multiplied times 10. Lady in article was diagnosed 2 years after suspected infection!?!?!
