I am wondering if any of the people who developed cfs after having mononucleosis may have had xmrv or some other retrovirus smoldering in the background. If your cfs started after mono, I would very much like to hear from you on the following questions.
1. Did you have cholic as a baby.
2. Were you particularly active as a pre-schooler?
3. Did you have a problem with aching legs as a child?
4. As a pre-schooler were you sick more than other children? unusual illnesses such as scarlet fever? Asthma? Allergies?
5. Did you ever fall asleep at school?
In the case of my daughter:
1. Yes

4. yes, I recall immediately following roseola she got another illness. Often ill with ear aches, scarlet fever, asthma, and allergies.
