I took this from another thread but I think this deserves a thread all its own. I think everyone should read this article about the Ultradian Cycle by Jody. (Another article I'd love to steal). Jody has a knack for explaining things in a very gettable way. Here it is: http://www.ncubator.ca/Time_Ultradian.html Just taking time outs- brief time outs - when I notice my body tensing up and my shortening - really does help. Sometimes its the little things - done again and again - that make alot of difference. Taking time out from negative thoughts - that can be a real winner as well.
