I am in the middle of a very interesting article in The Atlantic about changing how new drugs are developed, manufactured and sold. Unfortunately, I can only find it on the Atlantic Weekly iphone app, so I can't post a link. It is called "A Radical Prescription" by Brian Till. Maybe someone can figure out how to post a link, but my brain isn't up to it today. It focuses mostly on drug development for illnesses predominantly in the third world, but the arguments can easily be applied to making new drugs less expensive in the developed world.
