My search this morning for news articles on ME/CFS found the following:
http://benonicitytimes.co.za/257890...red-or-woman-home-bound-by-invisible-disease/
An interesting quote: “In 2005, a woman in Roodepoort was the first in South Africa, whose cause of death was classified as ME,”
Despite a few "small errors" in the article, the women interviewed, one of them a founder of the recently-established ME CFS Foundation of South Africa, were generally satisfied that the devastation of the illness comes across, as reported in their facebook page.

They've done a good job on the websites -- very professional with many well-chosen links.
Here's another link to a recent newspaper article.

Great to see the word being spread from another location.
