Here's a site that helps you understand lab tests. You can look up a specific test and learn something about it.

It has a section about CFS, but it is not helpful. I am only looking at this site to help me understand lab tests in a generic way.

Hi all, here's a site designed for doctors so they can do differential diagnosis ,a definition of differential diagnosis can be found here

If you go to this site then chose your preferred language, then where it says search enter the name of the lab test, it then will as you to confirm that you have asked the right question and give other possibilities. click on the one you want, it then asks if you want to know about increased or decreased results for this test, click the one you want. It will then provide you with lists of possible conditions that can be related to this failed tests. The great thing about this site is you can then click the add another finding button and add up to nine other test results or symtoms, which will then narrow it down to just a few possible causes. you can then print out these lists and take them to your doctor and ask them to investigate it.
Full instructions on how to use this site can be found here

Because it's disigned to be used by doctors it uses lots of medical terms, to help you understand these, on this site you will find a dictionary of medical terms and vast amounts of information on diseases and meanings of lab tests etc

You'll also see that often some of the conditions can be caused by medications, i've noticed alot of people asking questions about side effects of meds and suppliments there on and are obviously not getting the information they should from their doctors. So to help people look this up for themselves heres a site that explains the side effects, drug interactions and withdrawl symptoms of all perscriton drugs and alot of vitimins, suppliments etc and here's a site that explains the side effects etc of most herbs and suppliments

    all the best
