I received this email today from the Chronic Illness Inclusion Project in the UK. If anyone is willing to share their experience of chronic illness it's beginning in February or March 2018 (UK residents only)
We will be holding an extended focus group to find out about the experiences, needs, opinions and aspirations of people with chronic illness in the UK. This research is part of the Disability Research on Independent Living and Learning(DRILL) programme funded by Big Lottery.
The research will take place in online forum, beginning in February or March 2018. The discussions will lead into co-producing a manifesto for social change to share with policy makers and other disabled people's organisations.
We want to recruit 20 people who reflect the diversity of the chronic illness community.
We are looking for people who are willing and able to commit to online written discussion averaging two hours a month. Living with chronic illness ourselves, we will, of course, understand and accommodate fluctuating health.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer any financial rewards for participation in this research.
If this interests you, please follow this link to our registration questionnaire.
If this extended focus group isn’t suitable for you at the moment, don’t worry there will be other opportunities to get involved, such as short surveys.
Hoping this finds you as well as possible.
Recruitment Questionnaire here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/CIIProject
Best wishes,
Catherine and Jenny
