Somewhere I saw a case of two women who were both cured by sertraline and here again is a case of a typical ME/CFS (at least my illness is most similar to this). This man was cured after 7 years (look at what he was taking):

Unfortunatelly I tried tens of antidepressants and I am still ill (and it's been nearly 13 years).

Alesh,

That's one of the things that are so hard to sort out with this illness. We seem to react differently to treatments. It's pretty much a guessing game and you don't really know until you tried something if it's going to work for you.

Anti-depressants never worked for me either- usually made me worse.
For example the drug Xyrem helps many patients with their insomnia and gives them quality sleep where they wake up feeling refreshed. When I went on it, I had such a bad reaction - it nearly killed me.

I feel your frustration. Being ill for 13 years is terrible! Do you have a doctor who understands what you are going through?
