A paper on genetic variants correlating with longevity gets retracted for using a "faulty chip" in only 10% of the centenarian samples tested, yet the PACE trial riddled with demonstrable flaws and weaknesses gets praised by the journal's editors and other medico-politicians for its alleged "robust" and "well-designed" methodology while the critics get branded as emotional and irrational for explaining these flaws.
